While it isnt Wednesday yet, sales data from last week in Japan is starting to filter in. Famitsu released the first numbers, placing first week Nintendo Switch sales at 330,637 units.
This places the console, using figures also from Famitsu as a term of comparison, behind the Wii (which sold 371,900 units in its debut week), slightly ahead of the PS4 (322,100), and quite nicely ahead of the Wii U (308,600).
On top of that, 193,060 copies of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild have been sold at retail.
