Could We See PlayStation 5 in 2020?

Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: “The eighth console generation has been anything but standard. Since it un-officially began in 2011 with the launch of the Nintendo 3DS we have already seen three major hardware redesigns/upgrades (New Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X) and one system be totally replaced by another (Wii U over to Switch), but even with all these changes in hardware, it seems that software development tools and techniques are advancing faster than game systems can cope with, which of course means that this generation might not be long for this world. But with Nintendo having recently launched their Switch console and Microsoft prepping the uber-powerful Xbox One X that leaves Sony has the most likely candidate to kick off gen 9.”
