This led to a strong month for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. In fact, November doesn’t have a clear winner in terms of hardware sales. Gamers bought more PS4s than Xbox Ones or Nintendo Switch systems, but people also spent more money buying Xbox Ones than PS4s or Nintendo’s Switch, according to industry tracking firm The NPD Group.
