New game from Norbyte
Anonymous writes "Independent software developer Norbyte has released a new 3D game called Bloxter, for Windows and Macintosh OS X.
It's an arcade/puzzle game where you drop colored blocks and try to form lines of three or more, and it has 30 different variations ranging from simple but fun designs to arcade-like boards with alien monsters and bonuses.

The player's job as a bloxter, is to manage a block reactor and produce as much energy as possible.
To make things more complicated, the surroundings are inhabited by alien life-forms that just love to wreak havoc!
The fact that this game features modern 3D graphics is very evident from the first moment of gameplay, as the block reactor sways under the weight of the falling blocks and removed pieces come flying towards your face.
All this makes it hard to brush Bloxter off as being just another new game in an already over-crowded genre.

Bloxter is available for $19.95 at www.norbyte.com/Bloxter.html where you can also find demo versions for Windows and Macintosh OS X."
