The first game submitted for review by a new developer has priority over and second game they submit, however unlike before those second games can now be promoted to the primary queue. The old system could often leave games in review-queue limbo for months which appeared to penalise developers who had already received a review.
Bytten provides free reviews of independently developed PC games, a free guest link to indie developers, and occasional articles and reviews of game development utilities. Independent games are small, download only games that often ride along the cutting edge of innovation and value. Bytten posts a new review every single week, written by regular in-house staff.
